Bookings, deposits and payments booking
form terms
In order to secure your booking, please complete the booking
form. A 30% deposit is due on registration and must
be paid by direct wire to:
On return of payment of the deposit and registration form
the terms and conditions of tenancy will be deemed agreed.
The balance of the payment and a breakage deposit of R5.000
are due no later than 6 weeks prior to arrival date. If this
deadline is not met the booking will be deemed cancelled and
the cancellation policy will apply (see below). For convenience
as an alternative to transferring the breakage deposit an
imprint of your credit card can be taken on arrival. The credit
card docket will be returned to you once the apartment is
inspected following your departure and no material breakages
are found. In the case of cash transfers the breakage deposit
less any deductions, if any, will be refunded via cheque or
directly into the your account within 10 days after your departure.
Small breakages are not generally charged.
Please note that all rates are net, free of exchange or commission,
and without deduction or set off.
Cancellations
On cancellation of a booking we will try to find a replacement
booking and refund your deposit. However, if this is not achieved
the cancellation fees will be the following:
A cancellation less than 6 weeks before you are due to arrive
forfeits the full deposit.
A cancellation 6 - 8 weeks before you are due to arrive forfeits
75% of the deposit.
A cancellation 8 weeks before you are due to arrive forfeit
50% of the deposit.
Check in and check out
An agent will welcome you to the property and give you the
keys to the flat as well as answer any questions you may have.
Check in, after 2.00 p.m.
Check out, before 10.00 a.m.
We will always try to be flexible in order to make the start
and end of your holiday as enjoyable as possible. Unfortunately
if there is a prior or subsequent booking these times must
be met. On booking your holiday please let us know of your
flight times.
Groceries
The Penthouse is self-catering. We will include tea, coffee,
milk and bread in a "welcome pack", however if you would like
to have the apartment stocked for your arrival we can organise
this.
Telephone
The telephone in the apartment operates on a "pay as you go
" card system. This will be explained to you on your arrival.
